Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in manufacturing machinery and facilities. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other testing equipment. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and interpret schematics to guide installations. Adhere to safety regulations including Lockout/Tagout procedures and collaborate with engineers to optimize processes. Requires Journeyman Electrician certification, five years experience, and proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and NFPA 70E standards. Salary range $61,000 - $93,000.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting skills for PLCs, motor controls, and industrial machinery
- Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and servo systems
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E safety standards and arc flash mitigation
