Job Summary
Execute automation solutions and control systems for plant processes, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation functions. Read schematics, implement control strategies, and collaborate with fix/support teams to identify improvements and provide training. Work in a food processing environment involving physical exertion, wet conditions, and moving mechanical parts while wearing required personal protective equipment. Maintain availability for a 6-day work week in Fort Morgan, CO, with 2nd and 3rd shift options.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need of a Visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Knowledge of PLC/HMI/Controls programming languages
- Ability to update and troubleshoot a range of electrical or instrumentation systems
- Ability to read and analyze electrical schematics
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team or individual environment and be a self-starter
- Ability to pass an Electrical Aptitude Test
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- This position requires availability for a 6 day work week

Desired Qualifications
- Previous Cargill Experience
- Ability to understand continuous and batch process control strategies
- Possess a working understanding of the production process
- Ability to configure and program a variety of control systems including PLC and HMI systems
- Knowledge of reliability centered maintenance, planning and scheduling
- Automation, Electrical, and / or Instrumentation experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens
- Design and implementation knowledge of plant digital business technologies
