Job Summary
Industrial Electrician role at Caterpillar in Decatur, IL with 2nd/3rd shift. You will build, install and repair electrical and electronic circuits on machine tools and plant equipment, diagnose malfunctions on NC controlled equipment, calibrate and service electronic testing instruments, and read blueprints/schematics to troubleshoot motors, transformers, and controllers. Maintain 5S in the workspace; emphasize safety, quality, and teamwork; perform preventive maintenance; and apply electronics/PLC knowledge to troubleshoot complex electrical/electronic systems. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a field-related college degree, electrical apprenticeship, technical school, military training, or equivalent experience
