Job Summary
Maintain and repair electrical systems in asphalt, aggregate plants, and shops throughout Pennsylvania. Construct and lead crews for small projects, installing and diagnosing motors, control wiring, and medium voltage equipment. Perform conduit bending, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and follow company policies while obtaining MSHA certification. Work more than 40 hours per week including night shifts, Saturdays, and Sundays. Requires a valid driver's license, two years of industrial electrical experience, and high school diploma.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial electrical experience
- Valid driver's license for the state in which you reside with acceptable driving record per company minimum standards for drivers
- MSHA Certification
- CPR/First Aid
- Ability to use fingers for fine manipulation of wiring, etc.
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a plant environment with exposure to dust, fumes, noise, extreme temperatures and confined spaces
- Must be available for non-traditional hours including night shift, Saturdays and occasionally Sundays
- Frequently work more than 40 hours per week

- Install and diagnose control wiring
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot medium voltage equipment
- Perform conduit bending and all other forms of wiring practices
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain all types of motor controllers
- Troubleshoot basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
