Job Summary
Industrial Electrical Systems Technician responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, electronic, and automated systems in a large-scale manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting AC/DC motors, variable frequency drives, PLC systems, and power distribution up to 480 volts; performing preventive maintenance; maintaining equipment like pumps, overhead cranes, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; reading schematics and technical manuals; providing technical support to maintenance and production personnel; and ensuring safety and compliance with maintenance and operational requirements. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Three to five years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Ability to successfully complete an electrical aptitude assessment.
- Experience troubleshooting AC/DC motors, electrical controls, drives, and power systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
- Understanding of NFPA 70E and industrial electrical safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
