Job Summary
Assist senior employees with layout, installation, assembly, and repair of wiring, conduit, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. Accurately use tape measures, rulers, and lift trucks to move materials, while applying basic math skills for conversions and calculations. Perform various cleanup and housekeeping activities, maintain tools and equipment, and participate in Monday morning Tool Box safety meetings. Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures set forth by Industrial Mechanical, Inc. and OSHA. Report to a Foreman, General Foreman, or Project Manager. Relocate to Fayetteville, NC, before starting work.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months-1 years of experience in the electrical field or related area
- basic knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation
- ability to follow all safety rules and procedures set forth by Industrial Mechanical, Inc. and OSHA
- ability to accurately use tape measures and rulers
- ability to accurately apply basic mathematical skill, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and conversion of fractions and decimals
- ability to move materials around jobsites by lift trucks
- willingness to relocate to Fayetteville, NC before starting work
- willingness to travel 25%
