Industrial Electrical Field Superintendent

Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site functions, including productivity of crafts, material usage, and subcontractors. Provide technical assistance by interpreting drawings and construction methods while ensuring all personnel adhere to safety policies and project procedures. Communicate with client representatives and other contractors, document safety violations, and notify project management. Manage up to a 10-person crew in industrial electrical construction projects within pharmaceutical, energy, or manufacturing sectors. Perform additional assignments per supervisor or project manager direction. This role requires extensive NEC knowledge, controls instrumentation experience, and the ability to read drawings and sketches.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical construction projects
- Extensive knowledge of NEC
- Experience in Controls and Instrumentation
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to safety
- Ability to effectively manage up to a 10-person crew
- Ability to read drawings/sketches
- Continually walk/stand on surfaces which may be even/uneven, stable/unstable, and varying compositions
- Work in awkward spaces and/or positions including confined spaces and climbing
- The ability to routinely lift up to 75+ lbs
- Excellent hand/eye coordination, depth perception, and peripheral vision
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be available for overnight work
- Must be available for weekend work
- Must pass pre-employment investigations
- Must pass physical functionality evaluations
- Must pass criminal background evaluations
- Must pass MVR evaluations
- Must pass skills evaluations
- Must agree to drug evaluations
