Industrial Electrical Designer - (REVIT or Smartplant 3D)

Job Summary
Industrial Electrical Designer with 5+ years of experience in 3D modeling for industrial facilities using REVIT or Smartplant 3D. Responsible for developing schematics and one-line drawings, designing duct banks, embedded conduit, cable tray, grounding, and lighting systems from concept to completion, and creating 3D models while checking for interferences and constructability. Applies NEC requirements, sizes pull boxes, and verifies voltage separation; produces plan drawings and details for electrical deliverables; reviews designs for safety, operability, and maintainability. Works on projects across Water/Wastewater, Data Centers, industrial power, and related facilities, supports pre-FEED/FEED/Design-Build/EPC processes, and participates in project meetings. Requires the ability to travel to the US, relocate to Calgary area with relocation assistance offered, and strong communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with RFI/ECN processes and as-builts, plus proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and PDF software, is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical design experience
- 5 years of 3D modeling experience in REVIT OR Smartplant 3D
- Experience delivering 3D models for electrical systems in building and industrial facilities
- Knowledge of NEC code as it pertains to industrial facilities
- Ability to travel to the US
- Degree preferred in Design/Drafting technology, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mathematics or similar
