Job Summary
Oversee branch operations by managing P&L, budgeting, and gross margin goals while building and strengthening customer relationships through consultative sales. Recruit, hire, and lead a multi-level staff of 5–15 employees, including apprentices and technicians, by assessing workload demands and assigning internal resources appropriately. Develop strategies to secure repeat business and expand market presence, ensuring job costs, profitability, and margins align with company standards. Carry an individual sales quota and collaborate with Business Development personnel to achieve branch goals. Requires 5+ years of general or operations management experience in a trades-related industry, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a valid driver's license. Must reliably commute to or relocate to the Atlanta area.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of general or operations management experience in a trades-related industry
- Experience in business development, forecasting, and budgeting
- Proven success managing P&L statements and driving revenue growth
- Project management experience with the ability to match personnel skillsets to project requirements
- Demonstrated success as a selling manager with consistent achievement of targets
- Ability to manage, coach, and motivate a multi-level staff of 5–15 employees
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and leadership skills
- Hands-on, calm under pressure, innovative, and solution-oriented
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Valid Driver's License
- Electrical Certification or License
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Must reliably commute to or be willing to relocate to the Atlanta area before starting
