Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operational performance for the designated warehouse, administering policies to ensure customer-focused order-to-delivery excellence. Champion and execute all aspects of inventory management, including receive, replenish, cycle counts, and perfect order receipt processes. Lead the team in physically demanding environments, managing material handling equipment and warehouse management systems while solving repetitive exceptions that hinder service. Provide guidance on best practices, manage escalations requiring liaison with the Regional Distribution Manager, and drive cost-effective logistics strategies. Ensure accurate reporting of performance measurements and maintain high inventory accuracy through dependable task management.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or commensurate experience (three to five years in warehousing, physical distribution)
- Supervisory experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain cooperative working relationship with all levels of personnel
- Strong leadership skills, able to promote an atmosphere of teamwork and professionalism in the workplace
- Proficient with computer systems
- Experience with forklifts and other material handling equipment (MHE)
- Solid written, verbal, and math skills
