Job Summary
Industrial Department Manager in Billings, MT, leading an Industrial Department of 10–15 electrical and mechanical engineers/designers on Industrial Power, Instrumentation and Control, and Automation projects for utilities, energy developers, and industrials. Responsible for supervising and mentoring staff, workload forecasting, QA/QC, coordinating with GM and other leadership, pursuing new business, and ensuring project deliverables meet client and ECI standards. Requires a BSEE/BSME, PE licensure, 12+ years of industrial engineering experience with 3+ years in project management, and willingness to travel. Also involved in recruiting, staff development, and maintaining industry-standard codes and practices.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE or BSME from an ABET accredited university, or equivalent
- Professional Engineer licensure in at least one state
- At least 12 years of Industrial Engineering experience, including at least 3 years as a project manager
- A combination of adequate education and experience may be considered as determined and approved by management
- The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking
- Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant must meet ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements
