Job Summary
Deliver high-quality customer service while processing counter and phone/electronic sales, handling inventory, and preparing products for delivery or shipment. Respond promptly to inquiries and complaints using problem-solving skills, providing accurate product and technical information. Conduct outbound follow-ups via phone and email, estimate delivery timelines, and receive, inspect, and stock incoming products. Pick, package, stage, and ship products using company-approved methods, while supporting inventory management through cycle counts and quality control. Perform assembly, light fabrication work, and operate forklifts in compliance with safety standards to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be a good listener with above average reasoning ability and make minimal mistakes
- Must be a good learner who can assimilate product knowledge and skills as they are presented
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and customer service
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately

- Experience in industrial distribution or hydraulic hose and fittings
- Parker Hannifin experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Forklift certification
- Experience with Epicor Prophet 21
- Willingness to learn new software programs
