Job Summary
Industrial Controls & Systems Integration Engineer responsible for developing and implementing PLC/HMI code, simulation, and commissioning at customer sites; create Functional Specifications and PLC/HMI programs in a team or as a technical lead; collaborate with Manufacturing Intelligence, Hardware, and Industrial IT engineers; provide customer-facing technical leadership and ensure zero-defect code during site installation; travel up to 25% and hold a valid driver’s license; requires a B.S. in Engineering or an Associate Degree with 5 years of related experience in industrial automation; hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA platforms (Rockwell/ControlLogix, Siemens S7, FTView SE/ME, WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware), HMI/SCADA, and automation technologies; strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills; multiple locations in the Midwest and remote options available.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Chemical) or related engineering field with 5 years minimum related and relevant experience in industrial automation OR Associate Degree in Engineering Technology with 5 years minimum related and relevant experience in industrial automation.
- Technical leadership capability to guide, and coach team members working on complex projects.
- Proficient in programming and delivering projects in a team environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Curiosity and agility in problem solving when presented with a new challenge.
- Focus and tenacity when given a challenge to see it through.
