Industrial / Construction Instrument Fitter & Safety System Lead

Job Summary
Install and bend tubing for process equipment, read P&IDs and schematics, and support commissioning and startup activities for industrial systems. Lead implementation of site safety systems, conduct daily safety meetings and job hazard analyses, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards while mentoring crews on safe work practices. Oversee instrument fitter crews in the field, coordinate with supervisors and other trades, and verify quality control and installation standards are met. Work a three-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotation in outdoor and industrial environments, including extreme conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial instrument fitter experience
- Strong background as an instrument fitter in oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and loop sheets
- Proven leadership experience on active construction sites
- Willingness to work a 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
- Must be able to work in outdoor and industrial environments, including extreme conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred knowledge/experience in group bending and bending order changes
- Experience with safety instrumented systems (SIS)
