Industrial/Construction Electrician

Job Summary
Install electrical systems, conduit, cable trays, wiring, panels, switchgear, motors, and control systems in industrial settings while reading blueprints and interpreting schematics. Bend and install EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit; pull wire and terminate connections according to project specifications. Install motor controls, PLC-related components, and industrial equipment ensuring all work complies with NEC standards, local codes, and company safety policies. Operate power tools, lifts, and testing equipment safely and efficiently. Coordinate with supervisors, project managers, and other trades on-site. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Complete daily reports and documentation as required. Work 10-12 hours per day across industrial construction sites, including manufacturing facilities, refineries, power plants, warehouses, or large industrial construction sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel if required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work in confined spaces
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work in varying weather conditions for extended periods
- Must be able to wear required PPE at all times
- Knowledge of NEC code and industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Experience with Motor controls
- Experience with MCCs (Motor Control Centers)
- Experience with Industrial lighting systems
- Experience with Conduit installation and wire pulling
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program
- 3+ years of industrial electrical construction experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with industrial automation systems
