Job Summary
Industrial Coater in FORJAK's Blast Plant responsible for preparing metal components and applying industrial coating systems (paints, enamels, epoxies, sealants) with brush, roll, or airless spray to meet project specs. Tasks include surface prep with cleaning/sanding, primer application, material mixing per manufacturer specs, verifying film thickness and finish quality, maintaining and cleaning equipment, and enforcing PPE/ventilation safety in a demanding plant environment. The role emphasizes meticulous attention to quality, ownership mindset, and ability to work across shifts with a team, in Circleville, Ohio. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in industrial coating application or surface preparation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Stand and walk for extended periods (4+ hours)
- Work in confined spaces, high noise levels, and varying temperatures
- Good manual dexterity and multi-coordination
- Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- Familiarity with epoxy, polyurethane, enamels, and other coatings (preferred)
