Industrial Brazer - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Conduct industrial brazing operations for specialty heating equipment, including hermetic seal brazing and pre-burn brazing. Prepare materials, sandblast flanges and heating elements, and operate gas burner systems to approximately 1200°F. Perform post-braze sandblasting, support hydro testing, and visually inspect solder flow and seal integrity. Install ceramic components and place hermetic seals while maintaining precision in high-heat environments. This 2nd shift position requires four 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday, with frequent standing and lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior industrial brazing experience and ability to work near sustained high-heat sources are required.
Required Qualifications
- Prior industrial brazing experience
- Experience working with torches and high-heat applications
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and process documentation
- Ability to work independently after training
- Strong manual dexterity and hand control
- Must be comfortable working near sustained high-heat sources approaching 1200°F
- Frequent standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Steel-toe boots and leather work gear appropriate for high-heat industrial work required
Desired Qualifications
- ASME brazing background or exposure
- Experience with hermetic seals or precision brazing applications
- Experience in welding, industrial fabrication, or heat-intensive manufacturing environments
- Strong attention to detail, patience, and precision hand control
- Ability to visually identify proper solder flow, braze penetration, and seal quality
- ASME brazing background or exposure preferred
