Job Summary
Supervise a crew of 5-10 employees while performing quality control using field coating inspection equipment and ensuring all safety procedures and personal protective equipment are followed. Maintain administrative records including time cards, daily reports, and safety logs while utilizing resources to maximize production and minimize costs. Perform light to medium equipment repairs on air and airless guns, sandblast valves, blast controls, and hoses, plus conduct preventive maintenance and fluid checks on compressors. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish with 5+ years of verifiable industry experience, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel. Full-time position with pay dependent on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to supervise a crew comprised of 5-10 employees
- Must be bilingual English and Spanish
- Perform Quality Control including the use field coating inspection equipment
- 5 or more years of verifiable experience in the sandblasting/painting industry
- Ensure that proper safety procedures are followed and personal protective equipment are worn by all crew members at all times
- Maintain proper administrative records, including time card, foreman's daily report and safety records
- Ability to utilize equipment, material, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs
- Be able to do light to medium equipment repairs
- Repair of air & airless guns
- Replace or repair sandblast valves
- Make minor repairs on blast controls
- Repair sandblast hose ends
- Change fuel filter on compressor
- Perform preventive maintenance and fluid level check on equipment
- Willingness to travel
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Positive, can-do attitude
