Job Summary
Lead and develop an automation/control sales team within the Itasca, IL territory for Graybar. Drive business development and district automation plans, oversee pre/post-sales support, build and maintain relationships with key automation customers and suppliers, and advance opportunities through the Schneider Electric IAD program. Travel throughout the territory to identify opportunities, develop tactical plans, and secure orders while ensuring customer needs are met. Requires 11+ years in automation/control sales with management experience preferred; a 4-year degree is preferred in Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop tools, training, and processes to support automation opportunities.
