Job Summary
The Industrial Americas Application Engineer provides technical support and proposals to sales and customers, focusing on understanding their business and technical needs. Responsibilities include creating technical proposals, managing technical documents, conducting sales visits, ensuring project cycle efficiency, and maintaining compliance with procedures. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in engineering related field
- Minimum of 4 Year College Engineering or Technology degree (Mechanical or related technical discipline preferred)
- Proven proficiency and experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage projects with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer focus and understanding of total customer satisfaction
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of technical prints and terminology
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
- Knowledge of rubber/plastic products, seals and bearings
- Application knowledge within specified market segments such as Fluid Power, Construction/ Off Highway, Automotive, Manufacturing & Automation Food, Bev, Water
- Familiarity with ISO quality requirements
- Proven proficiency and capabilities with 3D solid modeling software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven proficiency and experience in the use of business operational software (CRM, Oracle JDE, SAP)
