Indoor Track Coach (Boys)

Job Summary
In charge of all aspects of the boys track program for Hampton City Schools during the winter season, including motivating student athletes, instructing on game strategies and techniques, overseeing rosters, practices, and game schedules, managing equipment and uniforms, organizing transportation, and maintaining required records. Requires knowledge of track/field tactics, strong communication and organizational skills, and completion of optional but recommended trainings (CPR/AED/First Aid, Coaching Education, Concussion Prevention).
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of skills and tactics of sport
- Experience coaching preferred
- CPR/AED/First Aid training (See NOTE below)
- Completion of the Coaching Education online course (See NOTE below)
- Completion of the Concussion Prevention Training (See NOTE below)
