Job Summary
Assist the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured indoor track program at a high school in Leesburg, VA during the winter season. Collaborate with the athletic department, attend staff meetings, carry out duties designated by the head coach, and contribute to equipment recommendations and disciplinary actions. Foster sportsmanship, school pride, and community pride among athletes; perform other duties as assigned by the principal and/or athletic director. Required: coaching experience or participation at HS/college levels; CPR and First Aid certification or current enrollment. Preferred: teaching license or experience as a classified employee within Loudoun County Public Schools.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college levels
- Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course
