Job Summary
Coach parkour, tumbling, and progression-based movement skills for beginners through advanced participants by leading group lessons, private sessions, camps, and open events. Break skills into clear, approachable steps to support confidence, body awareness, and safe progression while spotting and assisting guests on spring floors, trampolines, foam pits, and other progression areas. Maintain a positive guest experience by encouraging participants, answering questions, and communicating clearly with kids, parents, and teammates. Adhere to Woodward safety standards, facility rules, and grooming policies while keeping training areas clean and ready for use. Work weekends, holidays, and seasonal peak periods as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for parkour, tumbling, action sports, movement-based coaching, and working with guests of all ages
- Experience or strong interest in parkour, tumbling, gymnastics, trampoline, cheer, or related movement disciplines
- Ability to communicate clearly with participants, parents, guests, supervisors, and teammates
- Comfort breaking down skills into safe, approachable progressions
- Comfort spotting and assisting participants through basic parkour and tumbling movements
- Dependable, honest, and able to demonstrate a high level of integrity
- Ability to meet Woodward Park City grooming and name tag standards
- Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in active indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to safely spot and assist participants through basic parkour and tumbling movements
- Must follow all Woodward Park City policies, procedures, safety standards, and guest service expectations
- A criminal background check will be conducted after the position is accepted
