Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one job coaching and training for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, assisting with resume writing, online applications, and mock interviews. Teach job-seeking skills, email usage, and interview techniques while acting as a liaison between clients, employers, and the ISE Program Manager. Provide on-the-job support, model workplace behavior, and offer transportation for job shadowing and interviews. Deliver 1:1 and small-group support during vocational training programs to ensure clients grasp content and earn credentials. Represent the agency at job fairs and community outreach events, while participating in collaborative team meetings and filing incident reports. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license
- Access to reliable transportation
- Proof of auto insurance
- A driving record that meets agency insurance requirements
- Ability to travel to multiple sites or community locations as part of regular job duties
- Completion of the primary COVID-19 vaccination series
- Current CPR certification
