Job Summary
Remote role based in Atlanta, GA. Responsible for researching, cultivating, and creating strategic campaigns to increase BVM’s small donor base (portfolio up to $10,000), maintaining a donor database, and collaborating with communications to boost donations through email, social media, radio, and print. Facilitates employee giving programs (e.g., United Way), oversees donor data entry and acknowledgement letters, and reports. Manages 3rd-party fundraisers and develops toolkits for supporters; coordinates donor engagement events (online and in-person) with occasional travel; handles stock donation processes and donor incentives; supports overall development responsibilities. Travel approximately 20% and works with a team to drive donor acquisition, retention, and engagement in alignment with the organization’s focus on racial justice, civic engagement, and social impact.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in management of fundraising, development of donor and gift cultivation and campaign strategy including online and digital campaigns
- Knowledge of donor databases management and donor tracking is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required (specifically Mail Merge using Excel and Word)
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced and collaborative team environment; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly
- Excellent writing skills

- Strong writing and verbal communications skills, and ability to give presentations
