Job Summary
Receive over 760,000 items annually by unloading parts using PIV, MHE, and pallet jacks, then cross-check boxes against freight manifests for external damage. Document and verify all receipts, route new parts with airworthiness certification to the storeroom, and match customer service orders to incoming vendor repair engine parts. Coordinate dock activities with the Product Storeroom, Component Repair Business, and Service Center while clearing documents and open purchase orders via SAP transactions. Monitor unloading fuel into storage tanks to ensure safety and mitigate spills immediately if they occur. Report any discrepancies or damage to the carrier and Quality Team for final disposition.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance
- Must be highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task
- Must possess normal dexterity and be able to lift and move heavy items
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Position requires frequent sitting and some walking, standing, climbing
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- US work authorization
