Job Summary
Indirect Tax Analyst role supporting the EMEA Shared Services Centre. Responsible for end-to-end preparation of indirect and withholding tax (WHT) compliance, including VAT, WHT, and statutory reports (Intrastat, EC Sales) for the EMEA region, ensuring submissions meet local requirements and global tax controls. Ensure data integrity through end-to-end reconciliations between ERP data and tax reporting modules, and maintain audit-ready documentation for all filings. Serve as the primary point of contact for regional affiliates on data queries, track filing statuses, and drive continuous improvement in SOPs and system workflows. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years in indirect tax compliance, with UK/EU VAT knowledge; SAP S/4HANA experience and strong collaboration with Finance and Global Tax leadership. Role includes hybrid in-office work (minimum 2 days/week) and collaboration across multiple brands within Warner Music Group.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of indirect tax compliance VAT accounting experience
- Good understanding of UK and EU VAT regulations
- Experience with ERP data reconciliations between tax reporting modules
- Ability to produce audit-ready documentation and maintain comprehensive checklists
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, OneSource Indirect tax Determination or OneSource Indirect tax Compliance modules preferred
- Experience with workflow tools such as JIRA and incident-triage platforms like PEGA
- Hybrid/onsite work arrangement at least 2 days per week in the office in London (UK)
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and maintain accuracy
