Job Summary
Indirect Sourcing Manager leads strategic sourcing programs, negotiates high-value, multi-year deals, and drives supplier management and risk mitigation across Asia. Partners with Citi businesses and global category leads to develop category strategies, oversee supplier relationships, and implement market analyses to inform procurement decisions. Requires 8–10 years of sourcing/procurement experience, experience with contracts/eProcurement tools, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Mentors and guides teammates and participates in cross-functional initiatives and risk governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 8 to 10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement in a financial institution or large, multi-national organization
- Experience in leading strategic sourcing programs, complex deal structuring, negotiations, and contracting
- Experience with Contracts and eProcurement tools/systems (e.g. Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFx)
- Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly
- Prudent in Compliance, Risk and Controls related matters
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Certified Purchase Professional such as CPM or CIPS preferred
