Indirect Sourcing Leader – UK

Job Summary
Deploy global and regional sourcing strategies locally to support business objectives across assigned sites, ensuring execution aligns with site priorities and investment priorities. Lead end-to-end sourcing for CAPEX and indirect spend, including bid package development, specification alignment, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contracting to secure the best value in cost, quality, and delivery. Drive cost-out, productivity, and cash improvement initiatives through supplier negotiations, process improvements, and sustainable cost controls in close partnership with Finance and site stakeholders. Manage tactical execution of sourcing activities, including supplier onboarding, SOW support, invoicing, and escalation handling for delivery and quality issues. Ensure compliance with sourcing and procurement policies, support audit readiness, and maintain alignment with business, customer, and regulatory requirements. Scope includes labor services, MRO, Facilities, Professional Services, IT, Utilities, and Capital Equipment. This role supports a hybrid working arrangement of three days in the office and two days from home.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Sourcing, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Major progressive sourcing or procurement experience
- Demonstrated track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management
- Strong experience managing key indirect spend categories
- Solid capabilities in sourcing analysis, data-driven decision-making, and spend management
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen
- Good understanding of international business practices, sourcing processes, and cross-functional stakeholder management in a matrix organization
- Fluent in English
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Ideally within indirect sourcing in a complex industrial or international environment
- Experience with Contingent Workforce (blue and white collars)
- Experience with Engineering Services
- Experience with complex Statements of Work
- Experience with both time-and-material and work package / deliverables-based contracting models
- CIPs certification
- Proficiency in a 2nd European language
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
