Job Summary
Build strong, loyal partnerships with existing and new retailers through face-to-face contact and routine evaluation of partner statistics. Proactively develop operational and sales tactics to meet specific goals for memberships, loans, and cross-selling. Serve as a liaison between the credit union and retail partners to promote APGFCU products, including supporting applications through funding when necessary. Provide consistent, professional service while reviewing loan denials for alternative recommendations and communicating solutions to dealers and members. Maintain dynamic programs by gathering data, conducting research, and recommending pricing adjustments based on market conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School education
- Additional specialized training equivalent to two years college
- Experience may be credited in lieu of education
- Four to five years financial institution lending products and services
- Three years of auto industry and finance experience
- Three years of successful sale experience in a business-to-businesses sales environment
- Knowledge of federal credit union laws
- Background in the indirect lending industry
- Knowledge of credit underwriting
- Knowledge of risk-based pricing
- Strong negotiating skills
