Job Summary
Indirect Rate Specialist role in Washington, DC area requiring 5+ years of experience negotiating provisional and final indirect cost rates for USG agencies. Duties include reviewing allowability, allocability, and reasonableness per federal cost principles; preparing negotiation objectives; conducting in-depth cost/price analyses of expense pools, allocation bases, and business volume forecasts; maintaining NICRA files; coordinating with auditors, legal counsel, COs and AOs; providing technical guidance on indirect cost rate application; monitoring rate performance and recommending adjustments; supporting policy development on cost principles and related areas. Hybrid, full-time position with on-site work 3 days/week in Washington DC. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Business and credentials such as FAC-C, CFCM, CPA, or CGFM; ability to assimilate new topics (e.g., Government-to-Government, interagency awards, Title II, Public International Organizations).
