Job Summary
Procurement Indirect Buyer I at Kindeva supports day-to-day procurement of indirect goods/services by processing requisitions and purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery, cost effectiveness, and policy compliance. Responsibilities include managing requisitions/POs for indirect goods, supplier onboarding and performance follow-up, maintaining procurement data (including blanket POs) in Microsoft D365, partnering with Operations/Finance/AP/site leadership to resolve issues and provide procurement guidance, supporting cost-savings initiatives and procurement projects, driving continuous improvement, and serving as a site procurement resource while collaborating across functions. Requires a Bachelor's degree and strong Excel/Office skills, P2P knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, certification coursework (APICS/ASCM/CIPS/ISM), procurement or supply chain internship experience, and experience with D365 and Power BI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel
- Basic understanding of the Procure-to-Pay process
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of theories and practices related to planning, procurement, and inventory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business acumen and analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to interface effectively with internal customers, management, and employees across Kindeva locations
- Experience with Microsoft D365 Procurement software
- Experience with Power BI
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences industry experience
Desired Qualifications
