Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end operational management of indirect customer contracts for distributor, wholesaler, and sales representative networks by drafting, reviewing, executing, and renewing agreements while coordinating with Commercial, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, and Compliance teams. Ensure contract coverage, expiry dates, and renewal timelines are accurately tracked, maintained, and audit-ready by identifying third parties without valid coverage and driving risk-based remediation actions. Transform the contracting process toward a standardized, lean operating model by redesigning the renewal lifecycle, implementing standard work, and driving adoption of contract lifecycle management technologies to improve efficiency and transparency. Lead and coach a team of contract specialists, setting expectations for process adherence, documentation quality, and daily management while acting as the escalation point for complex contracting topics and cross-functional alignment needs.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in contract drafting and management, commercial contracting, legal operations, public procurement, commercial operations, or a related field
- Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, distributor or indirect customer contracting, compliance requirements, risk management, internal controls, and governance frameworks within regulated healthcare
- Proven ability to lead a team, set priorities, drive accountability, manage operational execution, and build team capability
- Demonstrated ability to lead process transformation, standardization, lean initiatives, Daily Management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence programs
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define KPIs, create performance transparency, interpret operational data, identify gaps, and drive improvement actions
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to align relevant support functions, such as Compliance, Legal, Finance, Regulatory, Operations, Sales, and senior business stakeholders
- High attention to detail, strong organizational discipline, and commitment to quality, compliance, documentation accuracy, process adherence, and audit readiness
- Ability to operate with sound judgment, autonomy, and ownership while operating effectively within defined decision-making boundaries, managing competing priorities, resolving complex issues, and driving decisions across countries and functions
- Demonstrated experience in operating across multiple jurisdictions, cultures, and regulatory environments in a global or regional organization
- Proven ability to lead organizational change, influence adoption of new processes, manage resistance, and sustain behavioural change across stakeholder groups
- Fluent English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing distributor networks, working within regulated healthcare, leading cross-border contracting teams, implementing governance frameworks and responding to internal or external audits
- Lean, project management, process excellence, workflow transformation, or contract lifecycle system experience
- Experience with contract workflows, lifecycle and the respective IT tools (such as Salesforce.com)
