Job Summary
Fill purchase orders and collaborate with inventory management to maintain proper material levels. Forecast sales by item, analyze trends based on historical data, and monitor sales performance. Organize purchasing requisitions and develop monitoring systems for accurate tracking. Enter data into databases to update supplier information, track order status, and generate purchasing reports. Work across multiple plants, offices, and headquarters to support internal communications.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
- Basic knowledge and understanding of indirect procurement
