Job Summary
Indigenous Internship Recruitment Officer will deliver against an Indigenous Internship program for a mining client, creating advertisements, engaging with local Indigenous employment providers and Elders, and collaborating with site colleagues to support accessible advertising and application pathways. The role involves phone/video screening, longlisting candidates, coordinating assessment days and interviews, and developing interview guides and attraction content (including video materials) to support candidates. Strong Indigenous community engagement, program planning/coordination, and stakeholder relationship management are required. This is a 4-month contract opportunity, with consideration for candidates available to work 3 days/week, and will be site-based at the Boddington location in Western Australia. All candidates must have current working rights in Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Previous recruitment or project administration/coordination experience preferred
- Experience working with Indigenous communities or Indigenous engagement or stakeholder management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop accessible advertising and application pathways for varying digital literacy levels
- Experience in screening and interview coordination
- Ability to collaborate with site colleagues and external partners
- Eligibility to work in Australia
