Job Summary
Locum tenens thoracic surgeon needed in Noblesville, IN for inpatient coverage with 1:3 call and 20-minute response time. Responsibilities include performing CABG, valve repair, lung resection, and TAVR with 10–15 patients per shift, 10 admissions per shift, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant. Includes paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD/DO) in thoracic surgery or equivalent
- Board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery
- Locum tenens experience preferred
- Ability to perform CABG, valve repair, lung resection, and TAVR
