Job Summary
Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst in India will serve as the primary representative for IT risk and audit compliance, interfacing with stakeholders to obtain remediation plans, track progress, and update risk metrics. Responsibilities include continuous assessment of risk trends, monitoring regulatory changes affecting IT, cyber, and data governance, providing support for IT/cybersecurity compliance efforts, conducting third-party risk assessments, coordinating responses to assurance questionnaires, ensuring cybersecurity programs meet best-practice standards (e.g., NIST CSF, SP 800-53, IEC 62443), developing and maintaining governance policies, and delivering actionable recommendations via KPIs and metrics to leadership. The role also emphasizes communicating technical details to both technical teams and executives and fostering a cyber-aware culture. Qualifications include 3+ years in auditing/risk management, a relevant bachelor’s degree, familiarity with major frameworks, and strong collaboration and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in auditing, risk management, oversight and reporting, or related activities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Cybersecurity or Information Assurance or equivalent
- Experience with regulatory and risk frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-39, ISO27001/2, SOX, COBIT, ITIL, CIS, IEC 62443
- Experience performing risk assessments, threat and vulnerability assessments, and related activities
- Working knowledge of operating systems and networks; ability to analyze IT risk data and provide remediation guidance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate technical details to both technical and executive audiences
- Ability to work in teams and manage timelines in fast-paced, agile environments
