Job Summary
Independent Sales Representative to develop and grow local territories by securing listings and guiding customers through the auction and sales process for industrial equipment; operate as an independent contractor leveraging the MachineryMax brand, technology platform, marketing resources, and support teams; responsibilities include developing relationships with manufacturers, distributors, asset recovery firms, and business owners, identifying disposition opportunities, securing consignments and listings, coordinating asset marketing, and achieving territory growth goals; preferred candidates have strong relationship-building skills, self-motivation, and experience in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, metalworking, construction equipment, and asset liquidation; must be able to travel within assigned territory and use CRM tools to track activity.
Required Qualifications
- Proven sales, business development, or account management experience.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory.
- Computer proficiency and comfort using CRM systems and online sales tools.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.
- Existing industry relationships are highly desirable.
