Job Summary
Independent Property Field Adjuster needed to investigate and evaluate daily property claims on behalf of clients. This 1099 independent-contractor role requires managing claims with minimal oversight, making claim decisions within delegated authority, interpreting policy coverages, establishing reserves, and producing supplemental reports. Proficiency in Xactimate and Symbility is required, along with solid knowledge of insurance policies, practices, and procedures and strong construction knowledge to assess repairs and pricing. Responsibilities include delivering timely, accurate service to insureds, clients, and stakeholders, upholding professional conduct, and performing additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience handling property claims
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Xactimate and Symbility estimating software
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, practices, and procedures
- General construction knowledge strongly preferred
