Job Summary
Manage daily property claims independently by investigating, evaluating, and making decisions within delegated authority per company and carrier policies. Accurately interpret policy coverages, establish reserves, and apply appropriate claims practices while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and local construction methods. Submit supplemental reports as needed and provide exceptional customer service to insureds, clients, and stakeholders. This 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity requires experience handling property claims and using Xactimate and Symbility software, with contractors responsible for their own taxes and business expenses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience handling property claims
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Xactimate and Symbility estimating software
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, practices, and procedures
- You will not be classified as an employee of Ryze Claim Solutions
- You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses
- You control the manner, timing, and method of completing your work
- You may provide services to other clients or entities
- You must be free from company control and direction in how work is performed
- The work must be performed outside the usual course of our business
- You must be customarily engaged in an independently established trade or business
