Job Summary
Provide evidence-based counseling and therapy treatment to patients of Community Health Center partners throughout Arizona via telemedicine. Deliver individual and group sessions using modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma therapy while reviewing and signing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and consents. Conduct crisis interventions based on safety plans and participate in regular case planning with the multidisciplinary team. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and engage in ongoing supervision and education to maintain competency. Requires an active Arizona license, willingness to work evening shifts, and ability to sit for extended periods in a remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted mental health license in state of primary residence
- Active license in state of Arizona
- Comfortable working in a remote environment
- Willingness to work evening hours
- Patient-first mindset
- Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents
- Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence
- Sufficient hearing ability for participating in phone calls or virtual meetings
- Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions with reliable internet connectivity
- Demonstrate competency through post-testing, skill observation, and performance as assessed by direct supervisor
- Participate in individual and group supervision as required
- Participate in ongoing education, including in-services, training, and other activities to maintain and improve competency
