Job Summary
Conduct field-based independent living skill development for SMI clients, including food shopping, route learning, home cleaning, hygiene, and relationship building. Provide after-hour and on-call support to sustain ongoing recovery. Maintain a minimum of six months of personal recovery experience and hold a Behavioral Health Technician certification. Operate at least 80% of the time in the field across CBI's 26 Arizona locations, adhering to state motor vehicle record and fingerprint clearance requirements. Required Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Current AZ Driver's License in good standing
- Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) within 12-months of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree or higher
- 1-year experience working with the SMI population with additional experience in multiple settings and levels of care, including both mental health and substance abuse
- 1-year experience in a behavioral health position providing outreach and engagement activities
- Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders
