Independent Living Skills Instructor (Part-time)

Assess student functioning levels and provide direct instruction across independent living domains including health, safety, hygiene, food management, and community integration. Teach students individually and in small groups to maintain living spaces, plan meals, and follow medication routines while modeling appropriate self-care. Manage the learning environment by reducing distractions and adapt instruction to support student engagement. Complete documentation of instructional sessions and student progress in CLE systems within required timeframes. Collaborate with the ILS Coordinator and multidisciplinary team to problem-solve concerns and refine curriculum. This role is part of a comprehensive post-secondary transition program supporting young adults with autism, AD/HD, and learning differences toward greater independence in real-world environments.
