Job Summary
Provide one-on-one support for an individual with Autism Spectrum disorder to increase independence in daily living skills, personal care, home management, and financial literacy. Guide community navigation, establish consistent routines, and assist with budgeting while adapting to unique challenges in safety and accessibility. Offer hands-on assistance for hygiene routines, meal prep, and laundry as needed, promoting confidence in transportation options and social opportunities. This structured, safety-focused role involves early morning hours and requires current CPR/First Aid certification, valid identification, and live scan clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Two forms of valid identification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Live Scan fingerprint clearance
- Current TB test clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, and Cerebral Palsy preferred
- Able to work independently during scheduled early am hours
