Job Summary
Provide 1:1 support to an adult with developmental disabilities in the Davis community, focusing on care, fellowship, and protection while fostering independence. Assist with daily living activities including meals, medications, and household tasks, while facilitating community experiences such as walks, parks, and cultural outings. Maintain a calm, routine-based environment that encourages choice and quality of life, ensuring safety and supervision throughout the day. Work Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 10pm, with weekend rotations on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Fridays. Join InAlliance to make a meaningful impact in your local community.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in a support or caregiving role
- Must be able to verify employment eligibility under USCIS I-9 requirements
- CA Driver License
- Auto Insurance
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
- Must maintain CPR/First Aid certification
- Must be able to perform essential functions of this position with or without accommodations
Desired Qualifications
- AA Degree in a related field
- Previous experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
