Job Summary
Independent Contractor window installer role specializing in residential window installations with 1099 contractor status. Responsibilities include professional window installations per company standards, interacting with homeowners, loading and transporting tools and materials, reviewing contracts and project instructions, complying with manufacturer specs and building codes, maintaining a safe and clean work site, communicating with customers, conducting post-installation walkthroughs, presenting invoices, and assisting the Installation Manager as needed. Core competencies include technical proficiency in installation techniques, customer service, time management, safety awareness, clear communication, and problem-solving. Field-based work with travel to various residential job sites and flexible scheduling based on project assignments. Compensation is per project with uncapped earning potential and ongoing opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in window installation, carpentry, or general home remodeling
- High attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Professionalism in appearance, communication, and work ethic
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders while carrying materials
- Reliable transportation capable of safely transporting materials and tools to job sites
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- General Liability Insurance (must provide proof)
- Must supply personal tools necessary for window installation
