Job Summary
Provide consultative guidance to clients by translating complex emergency management regulations into actionable operational strategies. Develop incident deliverables such as situation reports, operational work plans, and incident action plans to ensure compliance with client policy. Act as a liaison between external partners and leadership, facilitating meetings and providing periodic status updates throughout the response cycle. Coordinate with various partner agencies and Emergency Support Functions to support client incident objectives within the emergency operations center or joint field office. Candidates must be available for on-call deployment within 24 to 72 hours and remain on-site for at least 30 days, working 12-hour shifts as needed based on operational tempo. This role supports Hagerty's mission to enhance client preparedness and create resilient communities through innovative emergency response solutions.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- At least three (3) years of professional experience
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client's operational tempo
