Job Summary
Provide consultative guidance to clients by translating complex emergency management regulations into actionable operational strategies. Develop incident deliverables such as situation reports, operational work plans, and incident action plans while ensuring compliance with client policies. Act as a liaison between external partners and leadership to facilitate meetings and provide periodic status updates throughout the response cycle. Assist with the management of operational objectives and ensure continuous operations within the emergency operations center or joint field office. Candidates must be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours and work 12-hour shifts as needed. Salary ranges from $30 to $70 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- At least three (3) years of professional experience
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client's operational tempo
- Available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notice
- Remain on-site for at least 30 days
