Job Summary
Provide consultative guidance to clients by translating complex emergency management regulations into actionable operational strategies. Develop incident deliverables including situation reports, operational work plans, and incident action plans to ensure compliance with client policies. Act as a liaison between external partners and leadership, facilitating meetings and providing status updates throughout the response cycle. Manage operational objectives by translating Incident Commanders' high-level strategy into tactical assignments while supporting continuous operations within the emergency operations center or joint field office. Candidates must deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notice and remain on-site for at least 30 days, working 12-hour shifts as needed based on operational tempo.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
- At least three (3) years of professional experience
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint)
- The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client's operational tempo
- Available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notice
- Available to remain on-site for at least 30 days
