Job Summary
Independent Contractor – Response Division responsible for providing consultative guidance to clients on emergency management regulations, developing incident deliverables such as SITREPs and IAPs, serving as liaison between external partners and leadership, creating incident action plans and translating high-level strategy into actionable tactical assignments, and performing duties to support EOC/JFO operations. Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher with 3+ years of experience (or 6+ years in a relevant field), NIMS ICS training, MS Office proficiency, and ability to deploy within 24-72 hours and remain on-site for up to 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- at least three (3) years of professional experience, or total of at least six (6) years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted in lieu of a degree
- NIMS Incident Command System (ICS) All-Hazards Position Specific training courses or credentials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client’s operational tempo
